It is a series of activities that results in a person seeking a qualification receiving a document confirming that a specific qualification has been awarded. Under the IQS Act, certification takes place after a positive validation outcome has been obtained. Only authorised institutions may award qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Education or training, validation and certification may all be carried out by the same institution. This is the case, for example, with primary schools and higher education institutions, as well as some centres and companies that provide training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Education, validation and certification may also be separated and carried out by different institutions. For example, vocational examinations and matriculation examinations for secondary school students are conducted by Regional Examination Boards.
