{"id":11124,"date":"2024-07-23T07:52:35","date_gmt":"2024-07-23T05:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kwalifikacje.gov.pl\/efekty-uczenia-sie\/"},"modified":"2026-10-07T23:58:15","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T21:58:15","slug":"learning-outcomes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kwalifikacje.gov.pl\/en\/individual\/knowledge-base\/key-concepts\/learning-outcomes\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning outcomes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learning outcomes are the knowledge, skills and social competences acquired through learning in the broadest sense \u2013 not only at school or university, but also through work and a range of other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The learning outcomes specified in a qualification description define:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>knowledge \u2013 what a person needs to know and understand,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>skills \u2013 what a person needs to be able to do, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social competences \u2013 what responsibilities a person needs to be prepared to take on in order to obtain a given qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In theory, learning outcomes are divided into three categories. In practice, however, a person\u2019s knowledge always includes an element of skill, skills involve elements of knowledge, and social competences are based on a combination of knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In qualification descriptions, individual learning outcomes may be specific to a particular qualification or more universal, for example relating to general occupational competences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning outcomes are the knowledge, skills and social competences acquired through learning in the broadest sense \u2013 not only at school or university, but also through work and a range of other activities.
