The database is being further developed within subsequent IQS (Integrated Qualifications System) projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can read more about the IQS project&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kwalifikacje.edu.pl\/o-projekcie-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Validation and the Integrated Qualifications System (IQS)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The validation of learning outcomes is an extremely important mechanism within the IQS. It is a process that enables the verification of whether an individual has achieved the learning outcomes required for a given qualification \u2013 that is, the appropriate knowledge, skills, and social competences \u2013 regardless of how they were acquired. Only a positive validation result leads to the awarding of a certificate confirming the achievement of a qualification that functions within the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Validation\u00a0<\/strong>may consist of three stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>identification,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>documentation,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>verification of learning outcomes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a comprehensive solution the goal of which may be not only to obtain a qualification, but also to broadly identify the learning outcomes acquired by an individual. This process is carried out within the IQS by bodies that have obtained formal certification rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How have the Good Practices been collected?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The examples in the database come from expert reports prepared by national and international specialists in the field of validation and quality assurance in the validation process. These examples have been selected to illustrate the following aspects of validation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Division\u00a0<\/strong>into three validation stages and certification;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong>\u00a0offered to individuals undergoing validation, including guidance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diverse\u00a0<\/strong>methods used in validation, including non-traditional ones such as the analysis of evidence and statements (sometimes referred to as the \u201cportfolio method\u201d);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Various outcomes of validation,<\/strong>\u00a0such as obtaining a qualification, gaining access to an educational program, or a broad skills audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use the Database of Good Practices?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each good practice in validation includes an interactive<strong>&nbsp;validation flowchart&nbsp;<\/strong>that clearly shows how the<strong>&nbsp;validation process<\/strong>&nbsp;for a given qualification is designed.
