At the end of 2025, Statistics Poland (GUS) reported (<a href=\"https:\/\/ssgk.stat.gov.pl\/Popyt_na_prace.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to the summary<\/a>) that, compared with the fourth quarter of 2024, the share of job vacancies for plant and machine operators and assemblers had increased by 1.8 percentage points to 17.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"kto-sie-odnajdzie-w-tej-branzy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is this sector right for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction is a field that needs roofers and energy systems installers as well as architects and engineers. There are also jobs for IT specialists and public procurement professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The demand for workers in this sector is also clearly reflected in this year\u2019s list published by the Ministry of National Education (<a href=\"https:\/\/monitorpolski.gov.pl\/M2026000014601.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to the notice<\/a>). Workers in demand include concrete workers, roofers, carpenters and operators of various types of machinery. Among the many specialisations needed in the sector is the qualification <a href=\"https:\/\/kwalifikacje.gov.pl\/en\/qualifications-search\/\">\u2018Operator of machinery and equipment for earthworks and roadworks\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"jak-mozna-zdobyc-odpowiednie-kwalifikacje-i-zawod\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can you gain the right qualification and enter the profession?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can gain this qualification at a stage I sectoral vocational school. You can also take examinations administered by one of the Regional Examination Boards and obtain a vocational certificate. But there are positive aspects too. Reports indicate strong demand in Poland and abroad for workers with this qualification.
