Graduate of the Biology master's degree programme can complete one"s studies in one of two study pathways: Human Biology or Environmental and Molecular Biology. The graduate of the Environmental and Molecular Biology pathway has an extended and in-depth knowledge of environmental biology, biodiversity issues and applications of molecular research in environmental biology. One knows the associations of the environment with animate nature and interprets phenomena and the factors affecting the functioning of ecosystems. One demonstrate knowledge in various areas of biology with applications of molecular biology methods in medicine, in research and analytical laboratories, and in the economy. Graduate of the Human Biology pathway has in-depth knowledge and skills in human biology, including biodemography, population genetics, methods for the study of living humans and bone materials. One explains and describes processes regarding human development, human structure, the diversity, evolution and history. One is able to use osteological and biodemographic research methods. Has knowledge of forensic methods. The graduate is fluent in the use of specialised terminology in biology and related sciences. One efficiently manages the team, also of an interdisciplinary nature.The graduate who has chosen the Environmental and Molecular Biology path is prepared to work in: scientific and research institutes and universities, state and local government administration offices dealing with environmental protection, national and voivodship funds for environmental protection and water management, general and regional environmental protection directorates, national parks and landscape parks, companies dealing with the assessment of the impact of industry and investments on the natural environment, companies carrying out natural valorization of investment areas, companies providing services in the field of environmental monitoring, institutions and companies dealing with urban greenery, as well as environmental laboratories. The graduate who has chosen the Human Biology path may be employed in: industrial design facilities, as a specialist in industrial anthropometry, in public health, food and nutrition and health care facilities, in police and forensic laboratories, in institutions dealing with physical education and sports, as a specialist in sports anthropometry, as a specialist examining bone remains in archaeological museums.<br><br>Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of English at B2+ level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. <br><br>
