The graduates of Musical Arts Education have in-depth competences in playing a chosen instrument (or singing), giving and performing concerts within broadly defined stage music. They use specialized terminology on musical arts education. They have the extended and in-depth preparation necessary for independent artistic activity as soloists and members of various musical ensembles. They have the necessary knowledge, skills and social competences to work as musicians (vocalists) in amateur and professional music ensembles. The graduates are qualified in running school and extracurricular music ensembles, as well as in performing the tasks of musical culture animators and managing musical culture institutions. They undertake independent artistic, animation and cultural work in the field of broadly defined education and cultural animation. They possess adequate knowledge, skills and social competences to undertake work in cultural centers and community centers, as well as other local government and social institutions whose activities focus on culture. They demonstrate adequate competences in organizing and running artistic animation projects.<br><br>The graduates can undertake work in cultural institutions, art impresarios and educational institutions (including teaching positions).<br><br>In accordance with the current regulation on the standard of education preparing for the teaching profession, graduates who have completed a full cycle of education at first- and second-level studies which included preparation for the profession, are qualified to teach the subject of music in primary and secondary schools. In addition, they have language skills at the B2+ level in conformance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.<br><br>
