Integrated Qualification System (IQS)

The Integrated Qualifications System has been operating in Poland since 2016, following the adoption of a special act by the Polish Parliament. The integrated system encompasses a significant portion of Polish qualifications which have been included in it under the provisions of the act or by the competent ministers.

The integrated system operates based on established standards for describing qualifications and assigning an appropriate PQF level. The provisions of the act regulate the inclusion of qualifications in the system and the operation of the Integrated Qualifications Register. The act also includes provisions regarding the certification and quality assurance of qualifications.

In Poland, there are qualifications that have not been included in the IQS; however, these qualifications do not have an assigned PQF level and cannot be included in the Integrated Qualifications Register.
