About us
The Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute collects and provides access to data on qualifications awarded by schools, higher education institutions and other institutions. We have been carrying out this task since 2018, in accordance with the Act of 22 December 2015 on the Integrated Qualifications System.
What do we do?
- we collect and provide up-to-date data on qualifications that can be obtained in Poland (certificates, diplomas and other qualification certificates),
- we carry out formal assessments of applications, for example applications for the inclusion of a market qualification in the IQS or for authorisation to certify a given qualification,
- we help determine which minister is responsible for considering an application concerning a market or sectoral qualification,
- we facilitate dialogue and cooperation between representatives of various institutions that support lifelong learning, particularly adult learning,
- we organise exchanges of experience between people with specialist knowledge, for example on how to prepare a qualification description and how to plan and conduct validation,
- we collect data on the activities of institutions that issue certificates for market and sectoral qualifications,
- we promote knowledge about the Integrated Qualifications System and lifelong learning opportunities.
