Cookie policy
A. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are saved and stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit different websites. A cookie usually contains the name of the website it comes from, information about the cookie’s “lifetime” (which specifies how long it is stored on a particular device), and a randomly generated unique number used to identify the browser used to connect to the website.
B. Use of cookies
1. The rejestr.kwalifikacji.gov.pl website uses cookies in order to:
- adapt the content of the website to the preferences of anonymous users and optimise the use of the website; in particular, these files make it possible to set the preferred language version of the website,
- create anonymous statistics that help us understand how users use the website, allowing us to improve its structure and content,
- store the session identifier of an anonymous user, which enables the website to function correctly,
- maintain the session of a logged-in user, so that the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on every page of the website.
2. In many cases, software used to browse websites (web browsers) allows cookies to be stored on the user’s device by default. Website users may change their cookie settings at any time. In particular, these settings may be changed so as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to notify the user whenever cookies are placed on their device. Detailed information on how cookies can be managed is available in the settings of the software (web browser). If the cookie settings are not changed, cookies will be stored on the user’s device, which means that we will store information on the user’s device and access that information.
3. Disabling cookies may make it more difficult to use the website after logging in. However, disabling the option to accept cookies does not prevent users from reading or viewing content published on the website.
