List of submitted applications

Here you can find information on all applications submitted for the inclusion of market, sectoral and craft qualifications in the IQS.

Proposals to include new qualifications in the IQS are developed in response to current or anticipated social and economic needs, including the needs of the labour market or a given sector. Applications are submitted to the ministers responsible for the areas to which the qualification relates.

The process of considering an application for the inclusion of a qualification involves several stages:

  1. formal assessment of the application and forwarding it to the relevant minister,
  2. consultation on the application (this does not apply to sectoral qualifications),
  3. analysis of the application by an expert team, which prepares an opinion on whether the qualification should be included in the IQS and a recommendation on the assignment of a Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF) level to the qualification,
  4. an opinion of the IQS Stakeholder Council on the PQF level proposed for the qualification,
  5. the minister’s decision on whether to include the qualification in the IQS.

In the table, you can search applications by qualification name, applicant name, qualification category and application status.

What do the application statuses mean?

  • forwarded to the minister – the application has been sent to the relevant minister, who will carry out a preliminary assessment and decide whether to review the application,
  • not taken forward – the minister has decided not to review the application because the proposed qualification is substantially similar to another qualification already included in the IQS,
  • under consideration – the minister is considering the application,
  • not approved – the minister has decided not to include the qualification in the IQS,
  • approved – the minister has decided to include the qualification in the IQS and enter it in the Register.
