The tool provides a quick and easy way to explore the Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF) and Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks (SQFs). The application allows users to search and compare qualification frameworks.
The Qualification Frameworks Browser was created for people who update or design requirements for qualifications, such as school certificates, diplomas and certificates. It can support the day-to-day work of:
- authors of core curricula,
- people preparing an application for the inclusion of a market or sectoral qualification in the IQS,
- higher education staff, for example when developing new degree programmes, evaluating curricula or designing work placement programmes,
- vocational schools, for example when developing programmes for additional vocational classes, traineeships and work placements,
- employers, for example when preparing job descriptions, recruiting staff, carrying out skills audits or analysing employees’ training needs,
- employees, for example when analysing opportunities for professional development,
- experts appointed by ministers to prepare recommendations on assigning PQF levels to qualifications,
- people involved in developing a Sectoral Qualifications Framework.
The Browser also provides access to the descriptors set out in Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks developed for 6 sectors:
- Energy
- Development Services
- Sport
- Trade
- Construction
- Tourism
More Sectoral Qualifications Frameworks may be added in the future, as new frameworks continue to be developed.
