Application fees

In accordance with the IQS Act (Articles 17, 43 and 55), the bank account number below should be used for quarterly fees paid by awarding bodies and for fees relating to applications for: 

  • the inclusion of qualifications in the IQS, 
  • authorisation to award qualifications, 
  • entry on the list of external quality assurance bodies.

These fees constitute state budget revenue. Fees are non-refundable, except where an application for the inclusion of a qualification in the IQS is not taken forward. 

Quarterly fees paid by awarding bodies

An awarding body pays a quarterly fee equal to 3% of its revenue from validation and certification, but not less than PLN 1 for each certificate issued (Article 46(1)). 

An awarding body that has entered into an agreement to provide free validation for pupils or graduates pays a reduced quarterly fee (Article 46(2)).

Application fees

Under the IQS Act, fees apply to:

  • an application for the inclusion of a market qualification in the IQS (Article 17),
  • an application for the inclusion of a sectoral qualification in the IQS (Article 17),
  • an application for authorisation to award a market qualification (Article 43),
  • an application for authorisation to award a sectoral qualification (Article 43),
  • an application for entry on the list of external quality assurance bodies (Article 55).

The amounts of these fees are specified in the relevant Articles of the Act. The amounts are adjusted once every five years in accordance with the rules set out in the Act. The adjusted fee amounts are announced by the Minister of Education, acting as Minister-Coordinator of the IQS, in an official notice published in the official journal of the Republic of Poland, Monitor Polski. The announced fees apply for the following five years.
