Sectoral Vocational Education Compass

Recommended for:

The Sectoral Vocational Education Compass is an application containing key information about occupations. However, it is not simply a list or a conventional handbook. The interactive Compass helps point you in the right direction and suggests options you may want to consider. Detailed, up-to-date data allow you to explore what a particular occupation offers and what it requires.

How does the Compass work?

You can use the application without logging in: there is no need to create an account, provide an email address or set a password.

You can search for specific occupations or explore an industry more freely. Filters allow you to search the database, for example by demand for a particular occupation or by earnings.

Each occupation profile contains detailed information presented in a clear and accessible way. It also includes information on schools, demand for the relevant qualifications in Poland, related certificates and useful multimedia resources.

The Compass draws on a range of databases, including the “Career Monitoring of Graduates of Public and Non-public Secondary Schools”.

Benefits for users:

  • access to up-to-date and reliable information on industries and qualifications,
  • clear explanations of what a particular occupation involves and how to qualify for it,
  • specific information on duties, requirements and working conditions,
  • useful information on where in Poland you can find schools that prepare pupils for a given occupation,
  • the ability to compare qualifications and check which occupations offer the highest earnings for graduates or how quickly graduates find work after leaving school.
