The holder of the qualification "Training in communication with patients and their relatives and within the therapeutic team" is prepared to independently plan, create and deliver training in the above mentioned area, as well as evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired by the participants during the training. The holder has specialized knowledge of communication with the patient, the patient's relatives, and within the treatment team. As part of the teaching activities he/she uses appropriately selected teaching methods adapted to the designated learning outcomes, taking into account the level of education (pre-graduate, post-graduate). He/she can independently prepare the teaching aids used during training, identify the needs of the trainees (medical staff trainees) and adjust the level of training accordingly. In the process of planning, creating and delivering training, he/she collaborates with other professionals (e.g. consulting on content issues related to the biomedical context, engaging other professionals to prepare lesson plans) and participants of the learning process (e.g. simulated patients).
