Automotive painting, conflict management and operating learning platforms - three new qualifications included in the IQS

A further three market qualifications have been included into the IQS. The first concerning automotive painting, the second - conflict management in an organization, and the third is related to remote learning platforms. Without doubt, each of these qualifications is needed in the job market today.

Carrying out the process of renovation and repair of paint coating - automotive spray painter

The holder of the qualification "Carrying out the process of renovation and repair of paint coating - automotive spray painter" has knowledge of materials and technological processes used in the repair, renovation and maintenance of paint coatings. The holder of the qualification performs tasks related to preparation of vehicles for repair painting, such as: degreasing, masking, corrosion protection, filling, smoothing fillers, priming, as well as application of decorative and decorative-protective layers, renovation and maintenance of paint coatings. While working he/she uses paint shop equipment, e.g. infrared heaters, paint booths, paint guns, other additional equipment used in vehicle repair. Performs all activities in accordance with paint shop and preparation areas occupational safety and health rules as well as paint shop environmental protection procedures.

Conflict management in an organization

The holder of the qualification "Conflict management in an organization" is prepared to develop and implement a conflict management program in an organization. The holder of the qualification plans and conducts a diagnosis of the organization: recognises its type, structure, communication model and relationships, and then identifies and analyses existing conflicts as well as the risk of future conflicts. Develops a strategy of conflict management in the organization, proposes measures to resolve interpersonal, group and inter-team disputes, as well as systemic measures to diagnose potential and latent conflicts early and carry out effective intervention. Identifies the negative effects of conflict as well as its potential to make organizations more effective. Implements planned activities and monitors their progress: resolves interpersonal and group conflicts, develops guidelines for interpersonal and managerial competence development programs, proposes changes to documents and procedures in order to build a culture conducive to constructive conflict resolution. The holder of the qualification "Conflict management in an organization" may find employment in various types of organizations, enterprises, public institutions and non-governmental organizations in positions related to human resource management (HR departments). He/she may also provide external conflict management consulting services to organizations. The approximate effort needed to obtain the qualification has been estimated at 120 hours, including, for example, 100 hours for training/course or other forms of learning and 20 hours of own work.

Operating a distance learning platform

The holder of the qualification "Operating a distance learning platform" has technical knowledge of creating courses and the operation of a distance learning platform. Creates courses on the platform, sets their parameters, and posts activities and resources. Sets properties of tools and their components, manages course settings on the platform. Advises the platform users on technical course settings, resolves technical issues as they arise. The holders of the qualification "Operating a distance learning platform" will be able to work as: an e-learning/distance learning assistant or help desk support staff in distance learning units.
