A new market qualification, related to machine tools, has been included into the IQS. The qualification has been included in the System by the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology.

Machine Tool Operator - Master's Diploma

The holder of the qualification "Machine Tool Operator - Master's Diploma" has an extensive knowledge of machines, tools and materials used in the machining process. Is prepared to plan and execute a machining process based on the technical documentation received from the client. Monitors the progress of the performed tasks and evaluates the quality of the completed item. Organizes his own workstation and that of his/her employees, including the responsibility for preparing the tools and materials necessary to perform the assigned task, including the ability to create simple programs for machining the parts on numerically controlled machine tools. Supervises, as well as independently uses and maintains machines, equipment and tools used in machining and independently uses technical, technical and operating documentation (DTR) and operating instructions for machine tools and equipment.
