A market qualification related to organising sports events for people with disabilities was included in the IQS by the Minister of Sport and Tourism. All those interested in confirming their knowledge, skills and experience in this area will be able to apply for certificates when the status of the included qualification is changed to "functioning".

Assisting in organising sports events for people with disabilities

The holder of the market qualification helps in the preparation and implementation of sports events for people with disabilities in accordance with the instructions of the organiser. He/she characterises sports for people with disabilities and discusses safety and health rules in a selected sport for people with disabilities. He/she is prepared to carry out educational and informational activities on sports for people with disabilities as well as to mobilise and encourage people with disabilities to participate in sports activities and sporting events. Under supervision, he/she provides assistance in moving and spots people with disabilities at sporting events. Based on the instructions received, he/she prepares and organises the venue for sports events for people with disabilities. The holder of the qualification is ready to volunteer or to be employed, among other things, in clubs or sports centers to organise sporting events for people with disabilities.
