The holder of the qualification independently prepares and serves coffee and coffee beverages based on ready-made recipes and on the basis of recipes for self-created compositions. Prepares beverages, using knowledge of types of beans, types of coffees, methods of preparing coffees, compositions of hot and cold coffee beverages based on the above. Uses specialised equipment for the preparation of coffee beverages and has knowledge of their use. Presents and serves prepared coffee beverages, including characterising the coffee beverage and the beans from which the beverage was made. Uses a recipe and makes a cost calculation for coffee and a particular coffee beverage.
