Further qualifications were included in the IQS by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism. This time the market qualifications are related to three sports: volleyball, basketball and handball.
Planning and implementation of the training process in volleyball
The holder of the qualification is prepared to independently prepare, organise, conduct and evaluate the training process in volleyball and its varieties using the methodology of teaching technique and tactics. Knowledge of volleyball and its variations helps in developing training concepts, game tactics, motor preparation, mental preparation and working with teams. Taking into account the dispositions, skills and individual goals of the players, he/she formulates training and performance goals, selects appropriate means and methods to achieve them, develops an annual plan for the organisation of training and conducts its evaluation. The holder of the qualification is ready to implement and monitor the work of the team and interact with the training group environment (including players' families, volunteers, sponsors). Based on the acquired information concerning opponents and players' skills, he/she develops game tactics and analyses their effectiveness. The holder of the qualification is responsible for the safety of players during the training sessions he/she conducts.
Conducting the training process in basketball
The holder of the qualification is prepared to independently plan and conduct the training process. Picks and selects players for basic training in terms of somatic, physiological, motor, psychological and technical predispositions. Teaches basic technical and tactical elements in accordance with the principles of basketball methodology. Evaluates the progress of the training. The holder of the qualification is also prepared to develop a plan for implementing a youth group training camp.
Strategic management of the team in handball
The holder of the qualification is prepared to manage team processes, including selecting and managing the training staff, creating a team concept, planning and implementing a proprietary strategy aimed at achieving the highest sports goals. The holder of the qualification performs the tasks related to sharing his/her knowledge and experience, participates in the educational process of improving coaching staff, influences the development of the discipline.
Planning and conducting the training process in basketball
The holder of the qualification is prepared to independently plan and conduct the training process. Assesses the skills of players necessary for success in the game, sets short- and long-term goals of the training programme for players, formulates a plan for the organisation of training, taking into account individual, group and team training tasks. Teaches, including demonstrating and explaining the conditions for the application of basic technical and tactical elements in accordance with the principles of basketball methodology. The actions he/she takes in relation to the ability to analyse the strategy of one's own and the opponent's play. Is ready to expand the scope of his/her skills and use the acquired knowledge in the training concepts being implemented.
Designing a proprietary training concept and managing the training process in basketball
The holder of the qualification is prepared to independently conduct the process of training athletes who engage in competitive basketball at the highest level of sport. Improves the technical skills of players, including the ability to work together as a group, team as well as attack and defense tactics. Organises and manages the training staff. Builds and assesses the motor skills of athletes. Plans sports training and monitors training loads. Is prepared to analyse the course of gameplay and improve his/her own coaching skills and expand the knowledge necessary to optimise the training process. Inspires representatives of the sports community to pursue ongoing education and development of professional skills. Creates a positive image of his/her own discipline and the sports sector.
