Conducting a training unit and managing a training camp for people with disabilities

The holder of the qualification utilises his/her knowledge of sports for people with disabilities and the unique aspects of training in sports for people with disabilities taking into account biological aspects, sports theory and methodology, safety principles and control of the training process. Characterises the rules, regulations, athletic assistive equipment, and sports classes in a selected sport for people with disabilities included in the Paralympic Games programme or administered by the International Paralympic Committee. Evaluates the athlete or team, proposes and justifies the classification of the athlete in the selected sport. Independently develops an outline for a training unit and a plan for a training camp for people with disabilities or special needs in a selected sport. Plans the budget of the training unit and the training camp. Implements the training unit. Conducts evaluation of the training unit, taking into account the participants and self-evaluation.
