Implementation of additive manufacturing and reverse engineering

The holder of the qualification certificate uses advanced knowledge of reverse engineering (3D scanning) and additive technologies. Identifies the potential applications of additive manufacturing technology, determines the needs, and prepares a schedule for implementing the appropriate resources for additive manufacturing and reverse engineering in production processes. Conducts an analysis (e.g., using the SWOT method – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) for processes occurring in the organisation in the context of applying additive manufacturing technology.

Designing Custom Orthopaedic Insoles

The holder of the qualification "Designing Custom Orthopaedic Insoles" utilises knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the lower limbs. Conducts examinations of the feet and lower limbs using physical examination methodology, including methods such as plantography, podoscopy, podoscanning, and pedobarography. Independently designs a custom orthopaedic insole and foot relief elements, taking into account the physiological needs and anticipated physical activity of the individual. Prepares recommendations for the examined person, considering their condition, including current and past diseases, deformities of the lower limbs and feet, with particular attention to diabetic and ischaemic conditions.
