Little IQR – the first guide to a world where experience, knowledge and skills matter

Recommended for:

The application is designed for pupils and teachers. Little IQR was created to explain what qualifications are and why it is important to have your skills formally recognised. The tool shows how each person’s interests and strengths can be used successfully at school and later at work.

How does it work?

Little IQR has two modules:

  •  Module 1: for pupils – here you can learn about:
  • qualifications, i.e. formal confirmation that you have the required knowledge, skills and social competences in a particular field. This part is intended for secondary school pupils;
  • badges, i.e. an initial form of recognition of your skills, activities and experience in specific roles (for example, Cat Expert). We particularly recommend badges for primary school pupils.
  • Module 2: for teachers – this section contains lesson plans.

They promote the idea of lifelong learning and show how the Integrated Qualifications System (IQS) can be used. The lesson plans can be used in activities for children in nursery schools, as well as with pupils in primary and secondary schools.

  • understand what an employer may expect from someone who holds a particular qualification,
  • learn how to set small, specific tasks in order to achieve their goals.

Teachers:

  • have access to lesson plans that introduce pupils to the world of qualifications, education and the labour market.
